Curriculum Management
By Terri Swopes

Clip to ScrapBook
I spent time in a public alternative school during my practicum. Yes, The district should be responsible for such activities. This district sent out substitute teachers at the rate of $10.00 per 1/2 hour. THe teachers gathered curriculum and spent 5-10 minutes a week talking about the curriculum with the sub. The sub brought the work back to the teacher who then had to assess the work. I can see this as becoming a problem in the future. Liabilities are high and the subs that are willing to go into people's homes and such are limited. Good Luck.
