burning out

I've been teaching for 15 years, with the last 3 years teaching a whole class of students with global and/or specific learning difficulties plus special needs - in a mainstream school. The rewards of the job can be absolutely great but I find that this year (only 6 weeks into the year) I go home EXHAUSTED! Realised that I'm burning out and spoke to my H.O.D. and my load has been lightened. Feeling a lot better about going to school next week when the change takes effect.
