TALID points
By KLD

Clip to ScrapBook
In my classroom we use the TALID system.
Each day I fill out a TALID sheet for each student. Each one has their own. It works like a grid. In one column there are 9 spaces for each class they have. ( nine periods
- nine spaces) Each space has what they are doing, like 1- Math, 2 - studyhall, etc. Then across the top I have the letters T A L I D in seperate columns. T - Task ( if they student is on task)
A - Area ( if they are in their area)
L - Language (if they use appropiate laguage) I - Interact(interact with students and teachers) D - Direction (if they followed
directions)

For each of the period they can get up to 5 points (one for each TALID) then at the end of the day I count how many points they earned and how many they could have earned and figure the percentage. With this grading of behavior you can make up your own rewards.
