visual processing delay
By Ericka

Clip to ScrapBook
You may want to consider modifications that make auditory processing the modality of the lesson. If you write on the board read aloud what you are writing (or have students) so that the info goes from visual only to auditory too. If you use an overhead then provide that child with a copy of the transparency to decrease copying frustration. Also taped versions of text to be read silently or trade books for novel reading (headphones too) might be something to consider.
