I have and it's not easy. You need to teach the way you believe is right. Maybe once the other teacher sees that your methods work (maybe even better than hers) she'll go easier on you. Until then just stick with what you are doing. Each teacher is different and so are the students. What works for one teacher or group of students won't necessarily work for another teacher.
