Clip to ScrapBook
I sure wish you would have received more responses to this request! We'd all like new and creative ideas! Here's a couple of ideas from my classroom.....

Have students bring in a clean, empty can (soup, veg, etc.)and
one old colored sock. Mix salt with white acrylic paint and have students paint the outside of their can. Let dry one day. Then hot glue the socks to the top of the can. Cut some of the sock off and hot glue a cotton ball at the end. The student then paints black coal eyes and smile and an orange carrot for a nose. You have the cutest little snowman! Parents love it, and the kids
have a great time making it.

Another gift idea...

I buy small dog bisquits, tiny red pom poms, squiggly eyes, and brown pipe cleaners. These make really cute Rudolph pins for moms or grandmas. Students make antlers and glue eyes and nose on the bisquit. You hot glue antlers on and the pin on the back. These could also be ornaments for the tree (hotglue ribbon for hanging) or refrig magnets. Hope you can use one of these! Happy holidays.

PS> I sure hope others will see this post and give us some new and creative ideas!!!
