Famous African Americans

Hi! My 4th grade class just began a biography project. We went to the library and checked out a biography on a famous black American. The students need to read the book and find certain information (Full name, family history, childhood dream, accomplishments, etc.). This information will be used as a "mock interview". Students will pretend to BE that famous person they read about and others will pretend to be the TV newscaster! They are going to make a "life size" portrait of the person, also. I think this will be a fun project! Hope you can use it!
