book reports
By Donna

Clip to ScrapBook
We just did a very successful book report in our class. Using a chapter book, the students had to sequence the beginning, middle and end of their book on a coffee can (or any other canister). The containter was covered with construction paper divided into 4 sections: 1)title and author, 2)beginning illustration, 3)middle illustration and 4)ending illustration. Inside the container were 3-5 props from their story with tags describing the importance of the prop to the story and a written book report describing the beginning, middle and end. Went very well and some student were totally creative!
