Mr. Gallon
By Betsy

Clip to ScrapBook
Crystal,
I don't know of a song, but I did get a great idea from this board last year to help my students remember their measurements up to a gallon. The kids loved it. First, draw a large capital G. Then, draw four large Q's inside the G. Next, draw two P's inside each Q. Last, draw two c's inside each P. This gives four quarts in one gallon, two pints in one quart and eight pints in a gallon , and so on. We just called him Mr. Gallon on Mr. G. Hope this helps.
Betsy
