quilts
By Pat

Clip to ScrapBook
Look in a quilting magazine to get an idea of what you want. Take the design by using different shapes. You will be using your math skills so include this into a math lesson. An example: Take a heart break it into equal squares. Half of the heart will be pink, other red. The boarder will be white. How many triangles, of red pink will be needed? How many whites? Each child makes an individual quilt block on construction paper. Place all the squares on large butcher paper which will be the back. You will have a beautiful quilt.
