It's Cold Writing Activity

A teacher in our school did a very cute writing activity. She gave each child 3 circles of white paper to make a snowman and colored paper scraps for scarf, hat, etc. They even used wiggley eyes and some pom poms to decorate scarf. She made a bulletin board display and called it Winter Wonderland. On one circle of the snowman, students wrote something they 'wondered' about...many relating to our solar system unit. She used it as a chance to discuss 'how, why, when, where, who, what' when writing their 'wonder' statements.
