traveling teddy

Clip to ScrapBook
Here is an idea if you have the parent support at your school. I sent home a letter to the parents explaining the project and asking for family volunteers who would be willing to have teddy visit and listed what that would include...to send us a postcard to show us where teddy was, write something in teddy's journal about places he could visit, etc. while in that town or city, include a souvenir (optional), and send to the next person on the list. When we received teddy back we enjoyed reading his journal and looking at all of his cool souvenirs. It worked out GREAT! Our teddy visited about 12 places in the U.S. The students and families loved it.
