A+ Day - Rewarding Good Kids
By Dianne

Clip to ScrapBook
At our school we have A+ Day - it is a whole school approach to reward the good kids. Each term, kids who are consistently good (ie - no Thinking room or thinking chair - always listen, always TRY THEIR HARDEST - always do their homework) are rewarded by a special activity. Each term (about 9 to 11 weeks long) is different. Things such as going to movies, swimming pool, Fun Factory, having a sausage sizzle and video, etc. are some of the things we do. Cost is covered partly by Parents and Citizens committee and partly by parents. Each child also receives a certificate. It works wonders with most of our children, even very difficult ones.
