Clip to ScrapBook
We make ornament frames out of pasta that is spray painted gold. Trace a basic holiday shape (a tree, a dreidel, or we've even used schoolhouses). Cut it out of oaktag.Make sure there is a space cut out for a child's photo. Then, have the child glue different pieces of pasta around the shape. Spray paint the shape gold when dry. I use a photo of each child either by the school Christmas tree or my Hanukkah decorations, but I've even used the small school photos we get for free. I punch a hole in the oaktag prior to gluing the pasta so it could be hung, and I put the child's name, grade and date on the back so that the parent will always know when it is made. These are cheap, easy and fun, and the gold spray paint makes them look very showy. Enjoy!
