Handprint art
By Mary

Clip to ScrapBook
I have a book titled From the hands of a child. It is available at teacher supply stores. My favorite handprint art was a project I did with my own two children when they were little. We made mother's day t-shirts for
the Grandmas. My 4 year old's hands were the top wings of a butterfly and my 2 year old's hands were the bottom wings. I just painted in the body. Then they each did hand prints for flowers and I painted in the stems.

You can also make ducks. Trace your child's foot or shoe for the body. Then put hand prints on each side for wings. Paint or draw in features.

Make Christmas wreaths

with green handprints and fingerprint holly.

Reindeer antlers with handprints.

Sunshine- Circle with orange and red handprints for beams.

Have fun!!
