This is my favourite theme. The children love it. Some of the best things I have done. Bought a huge bone from the butcher and taken it in for storywriting telling the children I had dug it up. We made a huge t rex from scribble
patterns last year and put on the door. We made eggs last year and made a nest out of a child's swimming pool lining it with brown paper and shredded paper which I gave a quick spray to. Made dinosaur biscuits. Made dinosaur soup out of the bone adding vegetables. Made a huge diorama. Painted paper for the floor added palm trees and all our own plastic dinosaurs. I will think of

more and let you know. If you go back on the various boards around May, June July of last year you will find many ideas. Try science then as well as this and the Busy Board.
