Valentine's Day
By Melissa

Clip to ScrapBook
Ms. Smith,

I've also been looking for Valentine's Day stuff and Olympic stuff. I'm a second year grade 2 teacher. If i hear about any new fun things I'll email you if you'd like. I know how stressful and busy your
first year of teaching is.

One thing that I'm doing for Valentines Day is a bulletin board that also brings in the 100th day. The bulletin board title will say "Have a Heart" A large heart in the center will day "100 acts of Kindness". Then in small hearts all around I will have the children write 5 kind things they can do for someone.

For them to collect their valentines, I went

to the local pizzaria and they gave me solid white bags (like lunch bags) Then they draw a heart on it in the center with glue and cover it with pink glitter. Then they decorate around it with valentines stickers or drawings. It makes it easy for them to collect and take home their valentines.

I have other cute ideas for around the school year. If you need anything else, feel free to email me. ABCgirl323@go.com
