i gave in my resignation on friday. the principal is a wacko! i subbed for about a year before i got this job and i never cried once~this job, i've been crying since the beginning of november because now the principal is constantly berating me....via notes or via messages from her through other teachers.

i liked the idea of a "buddy" teacher. unfortunately, the "buddy" teacher i have is not very helpful and i am the only first grade teacher in the school and have no one to go to for advice. every question i ask, the response is "it's in the manual". i got, no joke, 50 manuals in august. i decided i had enough. i think i'm working out the month of december and subbing begins in january. thank you for the advice!
