Mother's Day Gift Idea

I have been having the first graders dictate cookbooks and illustrate them. The ingredients and quantities given by 1st graders can be hilarious. I include one recipe from each child to make a class book and copy the book so each mom gets one. I also have a dedication and table of contents in the beginning. We decorate the front with mom and use cloth for an apron. The book is some work but it's terrific. A small bright class could write their own recipes.
