Contraction song

I have a song I sing with the kids to help them remember that when recognizing a contraction the first word stays the same. This helps them match the contraction to its two-word partner. I use the first verse the most (printed on a large posterboard as a shared reading) and I don;t have the other verse home with me.
Tune: Mary Had a Little LambI'm the first word, don't change me,
don't change me, don't change me.
I'm the first word don't change me,
oh no, just let me be. They love it!
