Label a file folder "Beginning of Year" or "First Day/Week of School" and start saving first day forms, notes, etc. Any notes or forms you send home the first week you should put into this folder and save them for next year. You will be given a lot of notes, etc. from the office the first day, and you may want to save copies for new students who may not show up until a few days/weeks later. You will want to file your letter to parents here too. You are fortunate to already know that you have a job for the Fall. Most schools around my area won't really hire until the late summer.
