Congratulations on your new endeavor! Welcome to the wonderful world of teaching! You're in for quite an experience. A good book to read to help prepare you is "The First Days of School" by Harry and Rosemary Wong. I'm not sure if your school provides you with instructional money, but I would buy 2-pocket folders for each child. (for student work, notes home, etc.)I would also buy a box of mailla file folders to save signed notes and any other documentations you keep on the students. You may also want to work on a school supply list and a welcome letter. These are just a few suggestions. I hope it helps! Good luck!
