Clip to ScrapBook
Here's a winner! This one is a good one to see how different things react in water.Get about a dozen baby food jars. Place items like a plasic bag, paper, a nail, penny, aluminim foil,a leaf, dirt, sand, salt, cigarette, oil etc. one in each jar. Have kids predict how the water will effect the item and how the item will effect the water. Check the jars in three days and see if your predictions were right. This shows litter affect the ponds and lakes. Have each student or group of students be responsible for each jar. Make a chart for each group to record their predictions and outcomes.
