March

Lisa,
Some March ideas... hope they help!
* show-n-tell something Green day
* Have a "weatherman" of the day, mark your calendar with a cloud, sun or rain... at the end of the month graph the results.
* Earth
Day is March 21st- walk outside look for plants and animals that may live around your school.
* Invite a local park ranger to come and speak to the class about Earth Day.
* Challenge another class to who can recycle the most items! Winner gets an extra recess or a movie day.
* Be the tricky leprechaun! Arrange for someone to "mix-up" and slightly "mess-up" your room on St. Patty's
day while you and the children are away. Have the "leprechaun" also leave behind some Gold Hershey kisses with almonds or chocolate coins. Everyone who helps put the classroom back in order gets some "gold".
* For homework have them cut from magazines things that are red, blue, green, orange, yellow etc. Bring them in and attach them to large bulletin paper to build a rainbow!
Have fun!
