Honesty

I read stories about "Honest Abe" and the tale of Washington chopping down the cherry tree. Then my students make cherries to hang on a tree. Cut a circle of red and another of white construction paper. On the front write "You should always tell the truth because...and inside students write their own ideas about being honest. Staple together and use a green pipe cleaner for a stem and a green construction paper leaf. It's fun and easy.
