Fish
By Kim

Clip to ScrapBook
There are lots of great books on fish. Try "Swimmy" or "Fish Is Fish." You can use the Rainbow fish series. We use pepperidge farms goldfish for math activities. They also have Dolphins out now. Try your local aquarium for in-class presentations or ideas. One activity I use to teach camouflage is to have each student trace their hand on a small piece of paper and color it using 3 different colored crayons. Then I give them a small black lined copy of a fish to color with the same crayons. They "hide" the fish in the ocean plant they made with their hand. Then Icollect the fish and distribute them to other students to find the original plant it belongs with.
