Homework

This is my 3rd year teaching 1st grade. I usually give Reading where I send a book home and the children have to write a sentence about the story. Math is usually a review worksheet and spelling is a fun activity to use with the spelling words. I use to check the homework every day but that became to much. So now I check on Fridays. We shall see how that works out. It is really funny my parents complain if I don't give homework or I skip one night but the rest of the year the homework is never done. GO FIGURE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
