get tough
By Sherri

Clip to ScrapBook
As a K teacher with 5 years under my belt I can offer only one suggestion.....Get Tough. I have to do it with mine almost every year. I start by removing alot of the toys and books and putting them in storage. With only a few things to play with you can more easily monitor and inforce rules. I simply say "if you can't play with my toys properly then I have to put them away". Usually a few days of not much to do is all it takes and as long as they are playing appropriately then I slowly bring out one thing at a time. Don't hesitate to put something away if they start mistreating it again. It has worked for me every year.
