Pocket Charts

I use pocket charts for center activities and word use. I will write out sentences and cut them apart so students can form them. I use words from the Word Wall and have students sort them according the number of letters in the works or by beginning with a vowel or consonant. I keep one open for unit vocabulary words plus I write out poems or fingerplays for the students to read or write on their own.
