telling time in K
By lois

Clip to ScrapBook
i use an extra large deck of cards (or you could use large number cards that you make) and put them around the carpet circle in the appropriate clock positions. then i use two kids as "hands". we go from there, starting and staying with only "o'clock" for a while. when they catch it, we go to ":30", too. remember that time measurement is a very abstract idea and k teachers are laying a foundation, not reaching for mastery.
