What wonderful advise!

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I love the idea of the tattle box. I have a kinder at home and I do know they will try you to the nth degree. I believe in learning through experimenting and experiencing. I have touch
boxes ready to go and I will rotate objects frequently. I hope it will help with vocabulary and description. I plan on having an Intel-Play microscope hooked up to my computer so we can see things up close! I thought about bringing in a bread machine and having a "social" for monthly good behavior. Perhaps, they would enjoy measuring the ingredients, etc. Some "good manners" lessons
might be appropriate, too. Oh yes, and I guess I have to teach the curriculum stuff while I am at it! LOL!!!

I have to tell you--I am just interested in reading anything and everything any of you want to share. I have been working in upper grades so this is truly a new experience for me. Plus, I think coming in during the middle of the year offers some unique attributes, too.

Much appreciation to each of you!
