What are you guys talking about?

What, specifically, is the concern here? I mean, if you're looking for a place without negativity, then don't come to a vent board. Are you saying that you don't like it when you complain and then somebody makes you feel
like the bad guy? Because I don't like that either. When I am mad, I want people to get mad WITH me, not AT me. But I honestly don't know what you're talking about. Personally, it helps me when I come here and see that other people are having the same problems I am. I wouldn't want to post a vent and have a bunch of positive responses to the tune of, "Oh, that's not a problem at all.

That's great." But then I don't know that you're referring to that situation.

I am sorry if I have been one of those "negative" posters who has related a negative situation in response to somebody's similar negative post. I thought, "Been there, done that," responses were okay. I think (and hope) this is not the kind of negativity you are upset about, because, sorry, that's the point of a vent board.

However, I do agree that it's nasty when you are at your wit's end, and all you want is help or at least support, and somebody comes right back and says that it's your fault or you're being petty. Such comments are mean and hurtful, even coming from anonymous sources.
