I think some of you have gotten the wrong idea about my question. I definitely leave detailed notes about the day in the most tactful way possible. I was asking about what to say to other teachers in the lunch room and in the halls that ask. I guess I take it the same as someone asking how you are doing. They ask but they don't really care what you say. Maybe I am overthinking this whole thing. I was just asking because some people on this board have complained because they want to gripe and it throws you off when a teacher says how great her day is going. Just wondering.
