Tell what happened!
By Tell it like it is

Clip to ScrapBook
Last year all my subs left notes saying how great the kids were. Yeah right! I had a classroom full of emotionally impared kids- good days were when no one tried to kill anyone. All the other teachers and EAs would fill me in on what happened with all my "great kids". It really made me unsure of the subs.

This year I have been out a lot for trainings and out a week because of strep throat, I was lucky enough to get the same sub all those days, and she told it like it was. I loved that, not only did I get extra help for my room because of her reports, but I was also able to record behavioral data from what she told me so I didn't have big gaps in my records. Don't get me wrong, she wasn't all negative, but I knew exactly what occured while I was gone.
