    where is the time?

I can understand that some other teachers do not want to be involved in extra activities. We often have more than enough to do just managing and teaching our classes. That does not mean we do not love what we do, however, some of us try to have a life that is our own. If you want to do other things, then fine for you. I don't think teachers should be looked down upon because they don't do this. To be a well-rounded teacher and a happy person, we need to be able to spend time with our friends and family and to develop other interests in life. Sometimes we have to say no to all of the extras. As far as the issue regarding pay goes, I can understand that too. Our time is valuable, and why shouldn't teachers get paid for the extras they do? Perhaps offering compensation to the other teachers in your school would increase their involvment in these activities. There is nothing wrong with wanting to be paid for extra time and work.
