Thank you, Kathi, for responding. It is hard not taking my feelings about the children home with me...I've stayed up many sleepless nights worrying about these kids. But, you're right, I do feel like I am doing the very best I can with my limited resources, and I have noticed some improvements already, so I guess that says something. I really liked your ideas, especially the one about making those students responsible for future tasks...I'm try that as soon as we get back from break.
Thank you again for realizing that I am doing my best and noticing my efforts. It's always nice to be appreciated and encouraged!!! Have a nice break! :-)
