stress
By Lisa

Clip to ScrapBook
I was hopping around boards and found you. I have taught kindergarten for a long time (I think nine years now, I lose track). Anyway, yes you are experiencing the stress of your first year. A great teacher is not made in
a year, you get better over time.

If you took a step back you might see that you are doing better than you think. You said your kids are learning! If you feel that you are only doing worksheets try to add something new to your routine. It doesn't take a big lesson plan to have a lesson without a worksheet. Do a class graph, estimate objects, paint etc... Include new stuff. You

might find the challenge thrilling.

Plus Easter is getting close and so is spring break. You can make it.

The neat thing about teaching is that every year you get a fresh start and and chance to grow as an educator.

The end of the year is getting closer!
Lisa
