I have the same child!
By j.j.

Clip to ScrapBook
It sounds as though you and I have the same child. Finally it is March and the Administration at my school is finished giving him "second chances." Our school has a separate place from the school that the students with
In School Suspension go to. It can also be used as an "alternative school." My child is spending the next week at this school. He will then be reintroduced a class at a time (Math first, then he can eat breakfast with everyone else, then Social Studies, etc.) If he has the slightest problem he leaves my classroom. He is also receiving counseling daily as well as social classes. It
was funny to see the reaction of his mother to the whole process (she is also a single mother who works nights-you know so she never has to deal with him). The only thing she was worried about is if he would get recess. I am still in charge of his studies. I will send the work weekly. I think this will work because he is very social. He also has a harassment issue especially with weaker boys and girls. He absolutely does not have respect for his mother. She does not follow through on anything so he thinks I shouldn't either.
