I'm not exactly sure what your rights are. It depends on your union and your district. I think you should ask your co-workers.
You should also be documenting all communication with parents, other teachers, and the administrators. This will show that you have been trying to communicate with others about the needs of your classroom. Other important documentation: lesson plans, behavior charts/plans, classroom newsletters/letters to parents, and anything extra you have done while you were teaching in your current position. I think these items are important to show how you have contributed to your school.
