Leave teaching

I don't think your teacher would come back intentionally and give her students candy to put them on a sugar rush to ruin your day.

And, if you are a leave replacement teacher, maybe the other teachers don't want to get attached to you if they don't think you will be back next year.

Teaching is VERY stressful. And as a second career teacher, you have otherworld experiences that they don't. You are probably doing a wonderful job.
