Loaning out Pencils...

Where I went to school, we had a few teachers that would loan pencils to students who lost or fogot their's. The problem was that most of the time the teacher would not get the pencil back. Now there are some teachers that will loan a pencil to a student and in return the student gives the teacher his or her shoe. This way the teacher is sure to get the pencil back at the end of class!! (If a student consistantly did not bring a pencil to class, the teacher would stop loaning that student supplies.) Just thought I'd share this idea with you.
