Clip to ScrapBook
Is he getting out of his seat to chat? Because he's distracted? Because he's just doesn't like to sit? What seems to be causing him to get out of his seat?

Evaluating the reason for his getting off-task is the beginning to starting to solve the problems. I'm a big postive reinforcement person and this works for the majority of my class. On the other hand, I'm finding a few of my students are motivated by either tangible rewards or definite consequences.

Find out what motivates the student and give it (or don't) to him. Hope this works and/or helps. Good luck!
