Clip to ScrapBook
Hi Jen,

I don't know if this will help, but at one of my former schools, we had an annual "Learning Fair." Each grade had a station in the gym, with tables and wall space on which to display samples of what the kids had
been learning in their classrooms. My third graders displayed their timeline/autobiography poster projects, book report projects, and some other neat artsy things that we did to reinforce concepts.
It was held in the evening from around 7-8:30. Of course, during the day, the kids helped the teachers set up their stations.
The Home School Association moms sold ice cream sundaes,
and kids walked around with their parents showing off their work. They also enjoyed looking at the work of the older kids, to see what they might be doing when they got to those grade levels. It was minimal stress, since we just saved projects over the year to display. Ours was also held in April. Hope this helps!
Katy
