Rude behavior
By Kathy

Clip to ScrapBook
I agree completely that the words "Shut up" should not be said--by anybody about anything. If the principal had things that needed saying, he certainly didn't choose the best way. I doubt the teachers will listen any more than children would if they were berated and told to "shut up."

I will have to say that having taught for many years, teachers can be some of the worst offenders in "talking." In our teachers' meetings, the teachers were usually visiting, working on projects, etc. Would we put up with that in our students? I think not! So politeness goes both ways. (Though that still doesn't excuse this principal's rude behavior!)
