I have had the best luck with JC Penney's, Marshall's, and Chadwicks. I stick by a pair of khakis and a pair of black pants, a tan skirt, a black skirt, and a couple of "dressier" dresses for professional meetings/conferences. If I am feeling casual, I usually go for a sweater (usually a solid color) or blouse paired with the pants or skirt and a good pair of flat shoes. If I want to dress up a bit, I usually add a blazer or a dressier blouse. I'm like you--I want to look nice, but be comfortable! Good luck in your shopping venture!
