I'm sorry that some people are so assuming and judgemental. You asked about comfortable clothes and who would have thought such a reply!

Anyway, that doesn't help you in any. I promise I'm not here to lecture you on changing your lifestyle!

I have taught for several years (9 in preschool and 4 in third grade). I do NOT have a weight problem but with working with children I want to look professional and ,YES, comfortable. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the teacher clothes and I do wear long skirts which DO look stylish. I have many cute jumpers with lots of neat and unusual jewelry(not wooden). I also wear a lot of sweaters and nice dress pants. This is MY style and I always get compliments how nice I look. But I'm a teacher and I'm not rich. I purchase very nice looking clothes at the following places.....J.C. Penney's, Sears, Pebbles, Dillard's, Goody's, Old Navy, and YES Target. My clothes always look nice without spending a fortune. AND they are do-able when working with children all day.
