"The First Days of School"

One book that I found very useful is one called "The First Days of School", the author is Wong. It's expensive, but definately worth it. I had to have my local teacher store special order it for me during the summer because it had been so popular that they ran out. It's got tons of helpful tips for getting your self prepared for the year, like setting up your room, developing a discipline plan, making rules, etc. In my district they bought one for every school. You should check it out.
