would love your advice!!

Our school is deciding whether or not to purchase the Saxon math program for grades 1-5. We are not sure what to do...we have been using HBJ (Harcourt Brace Jovanovich) for many years. OUr math scores on standardized tests have always been low. The admin. is hoping that Saxon would help raise scores (that's what they claim as well). I have mixed feelings about the program - it is soooo different than anything I have ever used. Is there anyone out there who has used this program and could offer advice? I sure would appreciate it!!
