monday blues
By Jessica

Clip to ScrapBook
I also suffered from this for awhile. I found depression wasn't fun on Sunday nights. I did a few things 1) a mild dose of an anti-depressant (I know many teachers who take St. John's Wart for the same reasons). 2) I have
made school fun by planning for energetic and fun activities that I look forward to. 3) I've also made sure my classroom is neat and clutter free before I leave on Friday that way when I come in on Monday, I am not overwhelmed immediately. 4) on Sunday evenings, I spend a little extra special time with my S.O. He and I only see each other on the weekends. So I make sure that just before
going to bed on Sunday, I get "cuddle time" (that's exactly what I call it to him). This is usually just us laying on the bed and chatting while we hold each other. It has really helped to relax me and put me to bed with a smile. Which makes getting up on Monday all the more easy.

I hope something I've suggested helps. Please know you are not the only one who's suffered!
Good luck
Jessica
