Sorry I cant giv you my advice but I wanted to point out that you not like it. I know that I dont like my situation in the Day care I am in. I have full responsibility of my class (this part I like) I have them 2days a week
(Sat.& Sun.) Theere is a larger fulltime staff for M-F. (More kids on those days.) The part I dont like is Room sharing. I cant arrange the room unless I put it back or get permission from the other teachers. I do have a space to decorate ( I would go crazy otherwise)and have my own storage spaces that the other teachers leave alone. I have full use of materials (except those in the
other staff's storage space). I have to leave the room they way the other teachers want (but they leave it special for me if I ask) and have to put my things away if I don' want it used. Another good thing is I am mostly in controll (The lead) in MY class. there is just me and my aide. the weekday staff have 1 manager, 1 Head teacher (assistant manager), 2 lead Teachers, 2+ assistant teachers, and 3+ aides. The aides have no staff athority , assistants have say over aides, Leads over assistants & aides, ect...
This is just in 1 classroom (divided into two classes) and there are 7 Classrooms!

sorry this is long and probably not what you wanted but I just wanted to vent also!
Thanks
Ams
